Miran has been active in the independent music scene in various roles for over two decades, which gives him a broad insight and understanding of the music industry. In 2004, he founded the record label Moonlee Records, one of the most essential labels in the ex-Yugoslav region (Repetitor, KOIKOI, Bernays Propaganda, ŽEN, Seine, Moveknowledgement…), which later expanded into Moonlee Booking agency. Miran is also the conference manager of MENT Ljubljana – one of the leading showcase festivals and music conferences in Central and Eastern Europe. He is also a board member of RUNDA – the Regional Association of Independent Discographers in the Balkans. In the last few years, he has participated as a speaker at various music conferences, including Eurosonic Noorderslag, AIM London, Tallinn Music Week, Sharpe Bratislava, and BUSH Budapest, among others.
